Ethereal Evocation of Women
As an interdisciplinary Artist I enjoy many mediums. 2023-24 focus has been the figure. As a portrait painter I admire the beauty in all. The figure in Clay has allowed me to explore themes of nature and our relationship with it.
My signature in ceramics is the Coqui. The native tree frog of Puerto Rico, the Coqui (Eleutherodactylus coqui) is used to symbolize the resilience of the Puerto Rican people. I also incorporate recycled Sea Glass from the beach of Aguadilla.
